The Scarborough National Malvern Soccer Club (S.N.M.S.C.) is a registered “Not For Profit Organization” dedicated to youth soccer development based on the following principles of our Vision and Mission Statements:

    • To develop Self-confidence, Discipline, Commitment, Teamwork and foster Respect for oneself and others.
    • To provide academic support for each player to aid their success on and off the field.
    • To promote the ideals of Fair Play and Enjoyment at all game levels.

Since its formation in 1979, S.N.M.S.C. has provided its players with the technical skills of soccer and tools to assist them in becoming model citizens. Our soccer registrants range in age from 4-16 years and are from many cultural, socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds.

Remere Warner (Technical Director) is a passionate and professional soccer coach, leader, and football development specialist with deep roots in Scarborough soccer and experience representing Team Ontario. A former Quinnipiac University NCAA Men’s Soccer player (#10) in 2011 and University of Toronto graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (2017), Remere combines competitive playing experience with an educational foundation and a commitment to developing the next generation of football talent.

As the Owner and Founder of Icefox Futsal Elite Training, Remere specializes in technical development, futsal-based training, high-tempo football, and building confident, intelligent, and technically proficient players. His coaching journey includes contributing to the development of players competing at national-team and NCAA levels.

Recognized for his leadership, professionalism, and enthusiasm for player development, Remere is also set to contribute to the global football experience as a 2026 FIFA World Cup Chaperone.

Remere is excited to bring his experience, energy, and high standards to Malvern, implementing a modern, fast-paced, and technically demanding training environment that inspires players to compete with confidence, creativity, discipline, and a winning mentality.

When does the season start and end?

Our outdoor season for players aged 4 to 14 takes place from May 12th to September 30th. The indoor/futsal season then runs from October to April.

Where are tryouts being held?

Thursday September 17 6:00pm @ Malvern Rec Field & Viola Desmond Park
Saturday, September 19 10:30am @ Malvern Rec Field
Monday, September 21 6:00pm @ Malvern Rec Field & Viola Desmond Park

Where are games and practices held?

Most activities take place at Malvern Rec Field, Viola Desmond Field (Hupfield).

How do I register my child?

Click here to register online at malvernsoccer.ca or in person at Malvern Rec Field on Monday, Thursday, 6.30 pm

What equipment does my child need?

Soccer cleats (no metal studs)
Shin pads (worn under socks)
Team jersey (included in the registration fee)
Water bottle

What days and times are practices/games?

Typical sessions are Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Your coach will confirm the exact schedules. If you aren’t able to make it please let your coach know as early as possible.

Are there any financial assistance options?

Yes! We partner with programs like Jumpstart/KidSport/etc. and we have our own payment plan. Ask us for more information.
