Scarborough National Malvern Soccer Club joined in to assist in this vital cause. The children and parents in our program collected donations amounting to $1,200.00. On Sunday, January 24th, 2010 our club celebrated the survivors and honoured the victims. We conveyed the message to our youth that at a time when the whole world is coming together to help, they too can make a meaningful difference.
On Saturday, February 20, 2010 our club held its first ever bowling night which took place at Parkway Bowl This event hosted by the Parent Committee was a great success! Children from all ages had a great time bowling with their fellow team mates and friends. Many parents also participated and showed off their fine bowling skills! Everyone had a wonderful time!
